Gettin' our locations on!

Yesterday I had a locations meeting with the lovely Laura Wallgren, who's location managing Lost In Sunshine, among a few other features in Austin right now - go Laura!!

We talked about the value of shooting at the actual TX location which I mirrored the story vs. cheating the shots and filming in Austin for a select few scenes. When it comes down to it, I'm more concerned about the feeling, tone and composition, than saying "we were in the exact location I...!!!"

    p.s. driving back from the documentary in louisiana today, gonna scout some stuff on my way back, keep a lookout for pics!
