Welcoming our lead actress, Olivia Applegate

We're so excited to have cast the wonderfully talented actress from Austin, Texas, Olivia Applegate, in our new short film, Visible Noise. BIG THANKS to Gordy Hoffman (from BlueCat Screenplay) who connected us!!

She may look a little familiar... if so, it's because she can also SING beautifully, and made it to the far rounds of America's Got Talent. She was recently "Emma" in Terrence Malick's untitled feature, too. All I can say is watch out for this one, World - I've seen audition tapes - and beauty aside, this gal can ACT.

She'll be moving to LA in January, so I caught her just in the nick of time... lucky me.

SO READY TO ROCK THIS WITH YOU, OLIVIA!

I'm often baffled at my own decision making process when I choose 'what' I'm going to write next. Voice of Determination

More recently, the reality has been pressed upon me that I can no longer be the writer who doesn't know enough about directing. I must immerse myself in all things angular. Whatever - that just sounds weird. The good part of this news is, I have time this time. Which leads me to my next thought...

Getting started, again - everything happens for a reason!

So I began this endeavor to produce Lost In Sunshine about 2 years ago. I thought the script was good, but not great - yet. Different people were initially on board helping me produce, edit, etc., and I now fully understand the over-used phrase, "Everything happens for a reason." To put it simply, I'm not a patient person. I work on that every day. When I want something to happen, I tend to jump on it....
