Pitching notes to avoid train wrecks :)
Well, it took a $150 expo ticket and a trip to LA for me to learn this, so I might as well share it with you! If you don't have a clue about pitching then you'll want to listen up. It was the hardest and most frustrating thing in the world for me to understand. I felt like a moron. A total dump hole to society when it came to this. Why was it that I could write a 110 pg screenplay, and be more excited about it than if I were to see Mathew playing bongos naked, yet I couldn't "pitch" my story in an effective manner....

In Search of a Line Producer, Part II
After reviewing tons of resumes/cover letters/bios online, I narrowed it down to a few experienced applicants. There were a lot of impressive people flooding the city, let me tell you. It was h-a-r-d! But I came across an applicant, Michelle M. that stood out. She was around my age (30-ish) and had written, directed and produced a feature called, Douglas (click on link above to watch trailer)....
